5 Ways to Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week

freebies, Teacher Tips

It’s almost Teacher Appreciation Week! We know that teachers deserve so much more than just a week but we love using this time to touch base with our coworkers and make sure everyone feels appreciated. We came up with these 5 ideas to make celebrating Teacher Appreciation easy and cost effective!

Choose one from the list for the entire week or go all out and choose a new idea every day! These ideas spread some cheer, but don’t break the bank. They are perfect if you have many staff members to accommodate and need to do something on a budget.

Idea #1 – “I Donut What I Would Do Without You!”

Mondays are always rough! To help make them a little easier, start the morning off by delivering donuts to your coworkers! If you have a big team, get a box of donut holes to get more bang for your buck!

Idea #2 – “Just Popping by to Say Thank You”

Go to a wholesale store (we’re thinking Sam’s Club or Costco) and buy a box of microwave popcorn. Attach these cute popcorn themed gift tags to each one and you have a super cute, super cost effective treat!

Idea #3 – Coupon Day!!

This idea is great if you’re a team leader or administrator! Make coupons for special bonuses and pass them out to your team! We always love the leave work 30 minutes early coupon. Another fun idea is a coupon to cover a 30 minute lesson so teachers can plan or take a break!

Idea #4 – Candy Recognition

We love a good play on words! That’s why we had to include these gift tags from Crazy Little Project! Get a big bag of candy and some ribbon to attach each gift tag. Let teachers choose their favorite candy for a sweet treat!

Idea #5 – Flowers

This one is a little pricier but it is so meaningful that we had to include it! A flower is a meaningful gift that teachers will enjoy far beyond the end of the week. We suggest talking to a floral distributor to see if you can buy flowers in bulk. When we mentioned that it was for teachers, we even got a discount!

To put the final touch on these gifts don’t forget to attach these Teacher Appreciation Gift Tags! All you have to do is print, cut, and attach them and you’re good to go! We’ve put all of them together for you here.

To show our appreciation to all of you, we’re giving away one of our Teacher Appreciation gift tags for FREE! Get it by clicking HERE!
