This is us right now! Although it was a four-day week we’re tired like we just worked a full five days! We’re joining a new linky party called Friday Favorites with Andrea, Narci, and Erika. We’ll be sharing some of our “Teacher Favorites” with you this week!
We’ve been needing a double dose of caffeine lately with all these back-to-school routines! Starbucks has been combining two of our favorites…pumpkins and coffee. Pumpkin Spice Lattes have been a treat for us lately!

For the past month or so we’ve been linking up with Traci from The Bender Bunch for Sped-tacular Sundays. They are certainly a favorite this week! The linky party looks like fall over there. Recently we posted about our Sped-tacular Sunday freebies. You can see that post here.

Teaching math. Can you believe that teaching math is one of our favorites this week?! We’re soaking in the moment too! We just finished using our Counting Coins Pocket Bookto review our money concepts and our students finally
We devoted one week to each type of coin: penny, nickel, dime, and quarter and really developed these skills. The U.S monetary system can be confusing for our students to grasp. The coins are different colored and their size doesn’t increase with their values. Our students loved feeling proud and confident by the end of this mega unit. This math pocket book follows a similar routine to those of our other pocket books. It contains 160+ pages and is presented at an independent level. We’re calling this a teacher win in our book!!
